A year ago this week, North Wales Crusaders launched their first ever North Wales Crusaders Women's team. Starting from scratch, the team went on to play five fixtures, remaining undefeated in what was a very successful 2023 season.
Now looking ahead to the season to come, North Wales Crusaders Women will get back to training later this month, and have taken the next step in their development, entering the Rugby Football League Development League for 2024.
Commenting on the 2024 plans, new Women's head coach Jack Harder said:
"I am really looking forward to the opportunity to branch out into the women's game.
"This year, I will be primarily focused on the fundamentals of rugby and developing an environment inclusive to everyone regardless of past rugby experience.
"If you would like to give Rugby League please join us even if you have no experience you are more than welcome."
