Reid Expecting Tough Test In Midlands

North Wales Crusaders' Matt Reid is expecting a 'tough test' when his side travel across the boarder to face Midlands Hurricanes in Betfred League One tomorrow afternoon.

Reid returned to action after injury last weekend, and opened the scoring for North Wales Crusaders in their 30-10 defeat against Keighley Cougars.

Reflecting on his try, Reid said "It was nice to get over the line, I thought the first 15-20 minutes we looked really good, it's a shame we didn't post more points during that period, but we just weren't clinical enough.

"When we get near the opponents' line, we were a little bit clunky, we are a team still learning, we are learning the new combinations, but it will come in time."

Crusaders will visit the Alexander Stadium for the first time on Sunday as they face a Hurricanes outfit who they defeated earlier in the season.

Reid insists that the clash represents a huge game for both teams: "This is the biggest game of the season so far, obviously there in a play-off place above us on the league table, we just squeezed past them in Colwyn Bay, and since then the Hurricanes have definitely improved.

"They've gone to Workington and won, alright they lost against Cornwall, so did we last year, but they'll have their moments this year.

"They'll definitely be out to avenge what happened earlier this season, because they'll feel they should of won the game."
