Rodgers Makes North Wales Move

North Wales Crusaders are delighted to sign 21-year-old winger Kallem Rodgers on a one year deal.

Rodgers arrives in North Wales having played his amateur rugby league at Wigan based Ince Rose Bridge and featuring for the Bradford Bulls reserves.

Rodgers has also represented England Community Lions last autumn and featured against Wales and Ireland respectively.

He was also part of the Saint Helens academy touring squad that went to Australia in 2020.

On signing for North Wales Crusaders, Rodgers commented: “I’m excited for the season coming.

"Everyone at the club is great, the club is doing some great things and can only get better so it’s good to be able to be a part of it."

Crusaders head coach Carl Forster added: "I'm really happy to bring Kallem in, he’s a big strong lad.

"When I learnt of his availability from Bradford we were quick to act and bring him in.

"He’s come with a previous injury, so for him it’s about getting back fit and into full training with the team."

North Wales Crusaders return to action in Colwyn Bay on Sunday 28th January when we host Swinton Lions in the 1895 Cup.

The match will also see live entertainment and food outlets in addition to a under 16's funzone with the afternoon opening from 12pm.
